A big student city, and adults who want to start

Leeds is one of the UK's largest student cities, and every year it fills up with young adults living away from home for the first time. For some of them, that is when they decide to finally learn to read the Quran properly, or to work on their Tajweed, without a parent arranging it.

A one-on-one online lesson suits that well. It fits around lectures, part-time work and late nights, it starts from wherever the student actually is, and it does not depend on finding a class across the city at a fixed time.

Hours that suit a student timetable

Our day runs 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM on US Eastern Time, which in Leeds is 11:00 AM until 4:30 AM for most of the year, so lessons can happen between lectures or late at night.

Between lectures

Late morning and afternoon slots are open every weekday, useful around a university timetable.

Late evenings for adults

Lessons are available well into the night, for adults who study after work or after their own children are asleep.

Children after school

Every hour from the end of the school day is available for younger students too.

Serving Leeds and beyond

Online Quran classes for families across Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Harrogate, Morley, and Pudsey

Lessons are live video calls, so Headingley, Harehills, Horsforth and Wakefield are all equally close to a class, and everyone chooses from the same teachers.

Why families in Leeds choose us

In Leeds, lessons can be booked from 11:00 AM until late at night UK time, 7 days a week, which suits schoolchildren after class and adults around lectures or work. Learning is one-to-one with a teacher from our team of 100+, and female teachers are available for families in Bradford, Wakefield, Harrogate, Morley and Pudsey. We have taught online since 2010, count 2,500+ students today, and begin with a free 30-minute trial class for every new student.

Starting as an adult

Adults who start learning the Quran later often feel they are behind before the first lesson. In a one-on-one class there is nobody to be behind: the teacher starts from your level, whether that is the Arabic letters, Noorani Qaida or correcting the Tajweed of someone who already reads.

For school-age children in Leeds, the English school year sets the rhythm, with half-terms in late October, February and late May and a long summer break. Leeds also has the usual northern swing in daylight, with sunsets before four in December and after half past nine in June, so the best time for a lesson tends to change with the season.
