I’ve never read Arabic. Where do I start? +
With Noorani Qaida, which teaches the Arabic alphabet and letter sounds from scratch. You learn to read Quranic Arabic without needing to speak the language.
How long does it take an adult to learn to read the Quran? +
Most adults taking 2–3 classes per week can read fluently from the Quran within 4–8 months, depending on practice consistency.
I’m a revert to Islam. Can I start with no background? +

Yes. Scheduling is available 24/7 across time zones, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, and classes can be rescheduled with advance notice.
Is 30 minutes per class enough for an adult? +
Yes. Short, frequent sessions with a live teacher produce better retention than long, infrequent ones, especially for busy adults.
Can I choose a male or female teacher? +
Yes. Men learn with a qualified male Ustadh (classes for men), and women with a qualified female Ustadha, with classes held in full segregation (classes for women).
