AlQuranClasses ("we," "us," "our") operates AlQuranClasses.com and related services. We are a brand of ITGenerations Inc., Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information. By using our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

This policy covers all users of our services. For information specific to how we protect children under 13 in compliance with COPPA, please also read our Children's Privacy Notice.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:

• Contact details you provide — name, email, phone — when you book a trial, enroll, or contact us.
• Student details needed to deliver classes, including age (if provided), attendance records, class participation details, learning progress, and teacher notes.
• Payment information, processed securely by third-party providers (we do not store full card numbers).
• Session activity logs and basic technical data such as browser type and usage, via cookies and similar technologies.

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our educational services. We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, biometric data, precise geolocation tracking, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

How we use your information

We use your information only to:

• Schedule and deliver your classes and assign a suitable teacher
• Track educational progress and maintain attendance records
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Provide feedback to parents and respond to your enquiries
• Improve instructional quality and keep the platform secure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We never use the details you give us — such as your name, email, phone number or your child’s information — for advertising. If you accept Marketing cookies, Google Ads may use your visit to this website to measure our adverts and to show you our adverts on other websites. You can refuse or withdraw this at any time in Cookie Settings.

Cookies and similar technologies

On your first visit a banner asks for your choice. Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories runs until you allow it, and you can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page, or in your browser settings.

Necessary (always on)

• aqc_consent_v1 — remembers your cookie choice (1 year).
• Google reCAPTCHA — protects our forms from spam when you send one. Google may set its own cookies for this.
• Cloudflare — hosts and protects the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
• Our chat assistant stores a small note in your browser (no personal data or tracking) so its greeting shows at most once per visit, and not again for 7 days if you close it.

Campaign attribution

• aqc_utm — if you arrive from one of our adverts, a campaign link or an AI assistant, remembers which one for 30 days, so that a free-trial request can be credited to it. For visitors in the UK, the EU/EEA, Switzerland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar and Quebec, it is only set after you accept Marketing cookies, and only for the visit on which you accept; if you later refuse Marketing cookies, it is deleted.

Analytics (only with your consent)

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years) — counts visits and shows us which pages and courses people use.
• Microsoft Clarity (_clck, 1 year; _clsk, 1 day) — records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can find and fix problems.

Marketing (only with your consent)

• Google Ads (_gcl_au, and _gcl_aw if you arrive from one of our adverts; 90 days) — measures which adverts lead to free-trial requests and calls, and may be used to show you our adverts on other websites.

Google Tag Manager is the tool that loads Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity; it does not set cookies of its own.

Our free apps (/prayer-times/, /qibla-finder/, /zakat-calculator/, /halal-scanner/, /quran-recitation-app/, /noorani-qaida-practice/ and /hifz-tracker/) are more restricted: they offer Analytics only, load nothing until you allow it, always refuse advertising consent so no advertising cookies are set, and block Microsoft Clarity.

Disclosure to service providers

To operate our services, we may share limited information with trusted third-party providers such as:

• Video conferencing platforms
• Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal)
• Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
• Customer support systems
• Email delivery (Resend), for messages you send through our forms
• Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager and reCAPTCHA) and Microsoft (Clarity), as described under Cookies and similar technologies
• ElevenLabs, which runs our website chat assistant — only if you open the chat and send a message

These providers are contractually required to protect personal information and use it only for service delivery purposes. We do not authorize third parties to use data for their own marketing purposes.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers including Stripe and PayPal. Your card details are processed by them directly under their own security standards. We do not store customer credit card information.

Session monitoring & recording

Online Quran classes may be recorded for quality assurance, safety and dispute resolution, and teacher training. Recordings are securely stored and not publicly shared. Unauthorized recording by users is prohibited.

Data security measures

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including secure hosting environments, restricted system access, encrypted communications, and PCI-compliant third-party payment processing. However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide educational services, maintain financial and legal records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Inactive accounts may be anonymized or deleted in accordance with applicable law.

Your rights

You may request to review the personal information we have collected, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, withdraw consent for continued data processing, and refuse future collection or use. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may require identity verification before fulfilling requests.

International processing

AlQuranClasses serves families in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Information may be processed in Canada or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards are applied where required by law.

AlQuranClasses™ and the AlQuranClasses logo are trademarks of ITGenerations Inc. Use of our name or branding by unaffiliated businesses or individuals, without prior written consent, is not permitted.
