Our hours in San Diego
San Diego is on Pacific Time, so our 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM Eastern teaching day is 3:00 AM to 8:30 PM locally, all year.
Afternoons belong to lessons
From the end of the school day to 8:30 PM Pacific, any hour can be booked.

Our teaching day finishes at 8:30 PM Pacific, so plan evening lessons inside that window.

If a move takes you to a new time zone, the same Eastern-based hours apply there, and we can help you find a new slot.

Mild weather, steady evenings
San Diego's climate is mild all year, and the daylight swings less than in northern cities. Maghrib falls before 4:50 in early December and around eight in late June, so in winter there is a long evening after Maghrib inside our hours, while in midsummer an after-Maghrib lesson sits close to the 8:30 PM end of our day.
Most San Diego-area districts start school in mid to late August and finish in June. For a military family, the bigger calendar is the posting cycle: an online lesson is one thing that does not have to stop and restart when orders change.
San Diego sits on the border with Tijuana, which keeps the same clock and changes it on the same dates. Families with relatives on the other side can line up lesson times without any conversion.

What are the class hours in San Diego?

Do you teach in North County and South Bay?
Yes. Oceanside, Carlsbad, Escondido, Chula Vista and National City have exactly the same options as the city.
