Afternoon thunderstorms, almost every summer day

Central Florida summers follow a familiar pattern: a hot, clear morning, then thunderstorms building through the afternoon, often just as school lets out. Lightning and heavy rain make the after-school drive to a class the most stressful part of the day.

An online lesson takes the drive away. The storm can do what it likes outside while the lesson happens at home, as long as the power and internet stay on.

The Orlando teaching day

Central Florida is on Eastern Time, the same clock our hours are set on, so lessons run from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM locally.

Through the storm hour

The late afternoon, when summer storms usually build, is fully inside our hours, and nobody has to drive through it.

Cool early mornings

From 6:00 AM, an adult can fit a lesson in before work and before the heat.

Saturday and Sunday

Weekend lessons are available from early morning to late evening.

Serving Orlando and beyond

Online Quran classes for families across Orlando, Kissimmee, Sanford, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, and Oviedo

Every class is a live video call, so families in Apopka, Clermont, Lake Nona and the rest of Central Florida have the same teachers and hours as families in Orlando.

Why families in Orlando choose us

An Orlando family can book any time from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM Eastern, seven days a week, so the after-school lesson never depends on driving through a thunderstorm. Our 100+ qualified teachers give private lessons, and families in Kissimmee, Sanford, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs and Oviedo can choose a female teacher. We started teaching online in 2010, have 2,500+ students now, and every new student begins with a free 30-minute trial class.

An August start in the middle of storm season

Most Central Florida districts go back to school around the second week of August and finish in late May. The first months of the school year overlap with the Atlantic hurricane season, which runs from June to the end of November.

When a tropical storm closes schools, an online class can often continue if the power and internet are on. If a storm knocks out your power or internet, contact our support team as soon as you can and they'll review the missed class under our make-up policy. Orlando's daylight is steady compared with northern cities: Maghrib falls around 5:30 in early December and after 8:20 in late June.

Central Florida's economy runs on tourism and hospitality, and a lot of that work is shift work: early starts, late finishes and weekends. A fixed weekly class time does not suit a rota that changes. A one-on-one online lesson can be booked across a long day, from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM, so it can fit around the schedule rather than the other way round.

Anyone who drives I-4 through Orlando knows how unpredictable the traffic can be, with commuters and visitors sharing the same lanes. A lesson that needs no drive starts on time regardless. Orlando's growth has also pushed new neighborhoods out to Lake Nona, Horizon West and beyond, often a long way from established community centers, which makes a lesson at home even more practical.
