Online Quran classes across Florida, in both its time zones.
From Miami to Jacksonville and over to Pensacola, Floridians learn the Quran with us one-to-one on video. A qualified teacher leads each class, women teachers are available, and your hours follow your side of the state's time-zone line.
A state with two clocks
Most of Florida is on Eastern Time, but the western Panhandle, including Pensacola and Panama City, is on Central Time, an hour behind. Families who move within the state, or who have relatives on both sides of the line, are sometimes caught out by it.
We schedule lessons between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM Eastern. On the peninsula and in Tallahassee that needs no conversion. In the western Panhandle it is 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM Central.

Online Quran classes for families across Florida, including Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, and Pensacola
Since each class is a video call, St. Petersburg, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Fort Myers and Boca Raton have the same teachers as anywhere else.
Why families in Florida choose us
On the peninsula, lessons run until 11:30 PM Eastern; in the western Panhandle, until 10:30 PM Central, every day either way, and with no drive through an afternoon storm. Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale and Pensacola students learn with a teacher to themselves from our 100+, and female teachers can be requested. Since 2010 we have taught online; 2,500+ students learn with us today, and your first 30-minute trial class is free.
A mid-August start and storm-season planning
Across most Florida districts, the school year opens in the second week of August and closes in late May or early June, which puts its first months squarely inside the Atlantic hurricane season. School closures for a storm need not cancel a lesson. Families on the coast know the drill for storm preparations; a charged laptop or tablet is worth adding to the list.
Florida's daylight changes less than in northern states, but it still moves enough to matter: Maghrib falls between about 5:30 and 5:45 in early December across most of the peninsula and after 8:00 in late June, and later still in the far west of the Eastern zone.
Plenty of Florida households arrived from another state or another country, and keeping a child's Quran learning steady through a move matters. An online teacher stays the same through a move across the state, and the lesson continues from where it stopped.
