A state between two metros

Maryland families often live between two cities. The Baltimore area and the Washington suburbs are each large in their own right, with the I-95 corridor and two beltways in between, and a parent's commute can run in either direction.

That makes a fixed in-person class time hard to hold. An online lesson removes the drive from the equation, whether you live in Columbia, Silver Spring or Glen Burnie.

Our hours in Maryland

Maryland shares Eastern Time with our schedule, so lessons can be booked between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM on any day.

After a Beltway commute

Classes run until 11:30 PM, so a parent home late from Baltimore or DC can still learn.

After school

For children, the whole after-school window is available.

Across the Bay Bridge

Families on the Eastern Shore have the same teachers and hours as families on the western shore.

Serving Maryland and beyond

Online Quran classes for families across Maryland, including Baltimore, Columbia, Silver Spring, Germantown, and Frederick

Lessons are online, so families in Annapolis, Ellicott City, Gaithersburg, Salisbury and Hagerstown have the same choice as anyone else.

Why families in Maryland choose us

From 6:00 AM until 11:30 PM Eastern, any day, Maryland families can fit a lesson around a commute to Baltimore or Washington instead of around I-95. Columbia, Silver Spring, Germantown and Frederick students learn one-on-one with our 100+ qualified teachers, and women teachers are on hand for those who ask. Online since 2010 and teaching 2,500+ students, we open every enrolment with a free 30-minute trial.

Calendars that vary by county

Maryland school calendars are set county by county, so Montgomery, Howard, Baltimore County and the others start and break on slightly different dates. Most begin in the last week or two of August and end in mid-June, breaking for winter and spring.

Families with children in different counties, or with relatives across the state, can find breaks falling in different weeks. Your child's private lesson keeps its own timetable regardless. Winter storms occasionally close schools across the state, and an online lesson can carry on through them as long as the power and internet are on.

The Eastern Shore is a different world from the Baltimore–Washington corridor: smaller towns, longer distances and the Bay Bridge between them and the western shore. For a family in Salisbury or Easton, an in-person class across the bridge is a half-day trip. Online, it is a half hour at home.

What Maryland families ask before enrolling

Do you teach on the Eastern Shore?

Yes. Lessons are online, so families on the Eastern Shore have the same teachers and hours as families in Baltimore or the DC suburbs.

When are lessons available across Maryland?

Daily, between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM Eastern.

Our county has its own calendar. Does that matter?

No. Each lesson follows your household's schedule, not a county calendar.

Do you offer female teachers?

Yes. Female teachers are available for girls and women — just ask when you book your free trial.
