One metro, two downtowns

The Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex is not one city so much as a constellation of them, from Frisco and McKinney in the north to Arlington and Grand Prairie in the middle and Fort Worth to the west. An in-person class almost always means a drive on LBJ, Central Expressway or I-35E, and the distance between two suburbs can be longer than the lesson itself.

Learning online removes that problem entirely. A student in Plano and a student in Irving join the same kind of lesson at the same kind of hour, and the only travel involved is the walk to the desk.

Booking from Central Time

Dallas keeps Central Time, an hour behind New York. Our hours, 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM Eastern, are 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM in Dallas, seven days a week and all year round.

Evenings stay open late

Classes run until 10:30 PM, which suits teenagers with practice or part-time jobs, and parents who only sit down once the house is quiet.

Before-work slots for adults

Classes start from 5:00 AM local time, early enough for an adult learner to finish a lesson before leaving for the office.

No seasonal drift

Texas and the East Coast switch to daylight saving on the same weekend, so the conversion holds through the whole year.

Our tutors

Serving Dallas and beyond

Online Quran classes for families across Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Irving, Arlington, and Frisco

Our lessons happen over live video, so the Metroplex shrinks to the size of a laptop screen. Families in Richardson, Garland, Carrollton and Grand Prairie have the same teachers and the same hours as families in Dallas itself.

Why families in Dallas choose us

In Dallas, our classes run until 10:30 PM Central Time, 7 days a week, so a lesson can wait until after practice, after work or after the drive home. A student works with one teacher at a time, from a team of 100+ that includes female teachers, whether the family lives in Fort Worth, Plano, Irving, Arlington or Frisco. With 2,500+ students learning with us and classes online since 2010, the first step is always a free 30-minute trial class.

Spring storms, winter ice and an August return

Most North Texas districts start back in the first half of August and break for summer in late May. In most districts spring break falls in March, and Thanksgiving and the winter holidays round out the year. A summer that begins in May gives a long, uninterrupted run for intensive study, if it is used.

The weather is the other thing to plan around. Spring brings severe thunderstorms and hail, and the occasional winter ice storm can close schools and roads for days. An online class does not depend on the roads, so it can often carry on when everything else is cancelled. If a storm knocks out your power or internet, contact our support team as soon as you can and they'll review the missed class under our make-up policy.

Daylight swings widely across the year here: Maghrib comes at about 5:20 in early December and close to 8:40 in late June, so a lesson pinned to Maghrib will move by more than three hours between the seasons.

Questions Dallas families ask us

What time are classes in Dallas?

Our hours are 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM Eastern, which is 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM Central. That holds all year, because Texas changes its clocks on the same dates as the East Coast.

Do you serve Fort Worth and the suburbs?

Yes. Classes are online, so families in Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Arlington and anywhere else in the Metroplex choose from the same teachers and hours.

What happens if bad weather closes schools?

If roads close but your power and internet are working, the class can go ahead. If a storm knocks out your power or internet, contact our support team as soon as you can and they'll review the missed class under our make-up policy.

Can adults learn too?

Yes. Adults study one-on-one at their own pace, from first letters to Tajweed and memorization, and early-morning and late-evening slots make it easier to fit around work.
