Surah Mulk speaks about the creation of the Universe and Life and death and makes a believer aware of the hellfire.

A few lessons which a person can learn from Surah Mulk are as follows,

  • Remember the Blessings

Surah Mulk teaches us about the blessing and kingdom of Allah Almighty. It makes you realize the Greatness and Magnificence of Allah Almighty.

Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion, and He is over all things competent – (AlQuran 67:1)

  • Created Death and Life

The foremost lesson in the Surah Mulk is Life and death. Allah has made life, and death tests human beings on how we act in this world.

[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving – (AlQuran 67:2)

  • Created Seven Heavens

Allah created everything perfectly. If a person can carefully observe, he will not find a minor flaw in the great expanse.

[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?

Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.

(AlQuran 67:4)

  • Purpose of Life

Allah created this world with a purpose. It has been created as a trial and test for human beings. So we should learn from here a great lesson: Allah created this world just for a trial, and this worldly life is temporary.

Allah has created a world full of luxuries for humans; he should fully benefit from all its pleasures but should always keep in mind that all these facilities entail a day of accountability.

  • Punishment for the disbelievers

The non-believers who deny The existence of Allah Almighty and the day of judgment will have to face the torment of Hell.

And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.

When thrown into it, they hear an [dreadful] inhaling from it while it boils up.

(AlQuran 67:6-7)

  • The reward for the believers

The believers who will remain fearful of their Lord in this world shall be rewarded, and their sins will be forgiven. Allah knows their virtuous deed, and He shall Duly Honor them.

Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.
