There is wastage of 10 things in our liives and we don’t consider it worthy.
The action or process of losing or destroying something by using it carelessly or extravagantly.
Here is a list of wastage of 10 things in life which we don’t care much.
Wastage of 10 Things:
1. Wastage of Our Knowledge
Wasted by not taking action with it.
2. Wastage of Our Actions
Wasted by committing them with out sincerity.
3. Wastage of Our Wealth
Wasted by using on things that will not bring us ajr. We waste our money, our status, our authority, on things which have no benefit in this life or in akhirah.
4. Wastage of Our Hearts
Wasted because they are empty from the love of Allah, and the feeling of longing to go to Him, and a feeling of peace and contentment. In it’s place, our hearts are filled with something or someone else.
5. Wastage of Our Bodies
Wasted because we don’t use them in ibadah and service of Allah
6. Wastage of Our Love
Our emotional love is misdirected, not towards Allah, but towards something/someone else.
7. Wastage of Our Time
Wasted, not used properly, to compensate for that which has passed, by doing what is righteous to make up for past deeds
8. Wastage of Our Intellect
Wasted on things that are not beneficial, that are detrimental to society and the individual, not in contemplation or reflection.
9. Wastage of Our Service
Wasted in service of someone who will not bring us closer to Allah, or benefit in dunyaa
10. Wastage of Our Dhikr
Wasted, because it does not effect us or our hearts.
this is something to think about and live life consciously.
Misuse of Blessings
The resources and blessings bestowed upon us are gifts from Allah, meant to be cherished and utilized wisely. When we fail to use these gifts for their intended purpose, we squander the immense potential they hold. For instance, our health is a blessing that should be spent in acts of worship and service, but neglecting our well-being for unhealthy habits or laziness leads to its gradual decline. Similarly, our wealth, when spent on trivial pursuits, loses its value and fails to bring lasting benefits. Recognizing the value of these blessings can help us redirect them toward meaningful and righteous purposes.
Moreover, our time and intellect are irreplaceable assets that demand careful management. Time, once gone, cannot be retrieved, and intellect, when misused, can lead us astray. Investing these in pursuits that please Allah and contribute to personal growth, society, and the afterlife ensures they are not misapplied. Engaging in acts of kindness, learning, and reflection, while avoiding distractions and idle activities, helps maximize the potential of these gifts and keeps us aligned with our spiritual goals as we are also advised by Quran.
Conscious Living and Accountability
Living consciously involves recognizing the significance of each action and its impact on our spiritual and worldly lives. By being mindful of how we use our resources, emotions, and capabilities, we can strive to lead a purposeful life. Redirecting misplaced love and attention toward Allah strengthens our connection with Him, while genuine dhikr (remembrance of Allah) fills our hearts with peace and transforms our actions into acts of worship. Similarly, sincere actions and service directed toward righteous causes elevate our deeds and contribute to the betterment of ourselves and those around us.
Conclusion
Misusing the blessings granted to us leads to a loss that is both worldly and spiritual. By reflecting on how we utilize our knowledge, time, emotions, and wealth, we can recalibrate our intentions and actions to align with the purpose of our creation. Every blessing is an opportunity to grow closer to Allah and build a legacy that benefits us in this life and the hereafter. Let us commit to living consciously, valuing what we have, and ensuring that our resources serve their rightful purpose for the ultimate reward.
