Online Quran classes in Hamilton, above and below the Mountain.
Families in Hamilton, Burlington and across the area learn the Quran with us in private, live video lessons with a qualified teacher. Female teachers are available, and lessons fit around school and the commute to Toronto.
A city split by the escarpment
Hamilton is divided by the Niagara Escarpment, which locals simply call the Mountain. Getting from the lower city to the upper city means one of a handful of access roads, and in winter those climbs are slow and slippery.
Add a parent who commutes to Toronto on the QEW or the GO train, and an in-person class across town on a weekday evening becomes hard to sustain. An online lesson needs none of it: no escarpment, no highway, no parking.

The Hamilton lesson day
Hamilton is on Eastern Time, so there is nothing to convert: our teaching day is 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM here, all week.
Home late from Toronto
A parent back late on the QEW or the GO train can still learn, because lessons run until 11:30 PM.
The after-school stretch
For children, every hour from the end of school to bedtime is available.
Early weekends
Weekend lessons can start as early as 6:00 AM, before the day fills up.

Lessons are live video calls, so families on the Mountain, in the lower city, in Grimsby and in Binbrook all choose from the same teachers and hours.
Why families in Hamilton choose us
Hamilton families can book from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM Eastern, seven days a week, so lessons fit after school or after the Toronto commute, with no winter drive up the Mountain. Every student works one-to-one with a teacher from our 100+, female teachers among them, for families in Burlington, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas and Waterdown. We have been teaching online since 2010, teach 2,500+ students now, and begin with a free 30-minute trial class.
Winter on the escarpment and the Ontario school year
Hamilton winters are changeable, and snow on the escarpment can make the climb between the lower and upper city slow even when the roads below are clear. An at-home lesson sidesteps the problem entirely as long as the power and internet are on.
Hamilton schools follow the Ontario calendar, from just after Labour Day to late June, with a winter break and a week off in March. The March week is worth keeping some revision going through, particularly for memorization, and late June is the time to plan how lessons will continue over the summer.
Hamilton has long been known as Steel City, and plenty of local jobs, in manufacturing, the port and healthcare, still run on shifts. A lesson that can be booked at 6:00 AM or late in the evening fits around a rota in a way a fixed weekly class cannot.
