Something Special For All The Fathers and Mothers on Father’s Day 🙂

The encouragement to seek children covers both sons and daughters, and along with this general encouragement Islam has given special merits to seeking and bringing up girls – contrary to the thinking of the people of ignorance of the past and present, since the people of ignorance – wherever and whenever found – hated (some of them ‘still do’) to have daughters and were grieved and angered by their births!

Imam Sadeq A.S said:

“What good offspring are the girls! For they are kind, obedient, sympathetic and having blessing with them.”

Path to Jannah:

Daughters are without doubt a great blessing from Almighty Allah. They are a means of salvation and a path to Jannah for their parents.

“Whoever has three daughters or sisters, or two daughters of two sisters, and lives along with them in a good manner, and has patience with them, and fears Allah with regard to them will enter Paradise.” [Abu Dawud, Al-Tirmidhi]

The key to success for any woman is to live life according to God’s guidance. This guidance is contained in the Qur’an and the traditions of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him). Today it is the turn of daughters. Daughters can hold great sway over their beloved fathers.  You might have heard the expression, “she twists her daddy around her little finger”, meaning that the daughter is able to persuade her father easily.

Daughters are Support for Fathers:

That certainly holds a great deal of truth but daughters can also guide, protect and support their fathers.

“The best women of humankind are four: Mariam, daughter of Imran, Assiya, the wife of Pharaoh, Khadija, daughter of Khuwailid, and Fatima the daughter of the Messenger of God” [Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim]

Every daughter is a darling angel of their Daddy and every Dad is the first love of their Daughter. A daughter’s love can propel a father on to new and greater things and  a daughter’s support can be invaluable. Fathers do not only inspire their daughters but are often inspired by them.  Fatimah’s reputation for piety and charity would have made her father proud and happy.

Daughter naturally wants to view her dad as a leader. She looks to him as a protector, Fathers have a tremendous power over their daughters. That’s not just the way it’s supposed to be; that’s the way it is. He is the most important man in her life. His interactions with her set her up for how she’s going to relate to all other men. That’s a heavy load, but a wonderful truth. If she learns to like her dad, and she can trust him, she’ll have a much easier time trusting her husband. Similarly paying attention to her achievements encouraging her to move on can make you a proud dad one day for sure.

Daughters not a Burden:

Remember! Daughters are a blessing and not a burden.

Fathers, rejoice on the birth of your daughters, love and guide them and give them that which is due to them from your belongings.

Dear Dad, Get Ready to treat your lil angels like you never before. And dear daughter make your daddy proud as its your duty for being the reason of his smile.

Dedication From a DAUGHTER

Special Hero

When I was a baby,
you would hold me in your arms.
I felt the love and tenderness,
keeping me safe from harm.
I would look up into your eyes,
and all the love I would see.
How did I get so lucky,
you were the dad chosen for me.
There is something special
about a father’s love.
Seems it was sent to me
from someplace up above.
Our love is everlasting,
I just wanted you to know.
That you’re my special hero
and I wanted to tell you so.
