Ustadha Sara Mohamed El-Shafaee
Sara El-Shafaee holds a degree in Islamic and Arabic studies from Al-Azhar University, in the fundamentals of religion division, specializing in Quran interpretation and the sciences of the Quran (2006). She is currently studying at an interpretation academy attached to the Quranic Interpretation Studies Centre in Riyadh, qualifying as an interpreter of the Quran.
She has taught across an unusually wide range of settings: online Quran and Tajweed for Al-Quran Institute in London since 2015, lecturing in Quran interpretation and the Prophet's biography for Afwah Academy in Tunisia, heading Quran studies at an Azhari language institution in Cairo, and training Quran memorizers in the Philippines for the Saudi world authority. She has taught every age from three-year-olds upward.
