Ustadh Moataz M. Rayan
Moataz Rayan is a hafiz of the Quran and holds an Ijazah as a hafiz and mujawwid. He holds a Bachelor of Islamic Sharia from Al-Azhar University — a five-year degree covering Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, contemporary issues in Fiqh and readings in the classical sources — graduating with honours, and is taking a postgraduate Diploma in Sharia at Ain Shams University.
He served as an imam in several mosques in Cairo from 2009, and since 2015 has taught Islamic and Arabic subjects to Azhari high-school students and taught Quran, Tajweed and Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.
