How to deal with life…

Are you tense?

Are you having trouble in life?

Is Lifelike a top turvy these days?

How To Deal With Life:

Financial issues, marital problems, educational performance, and job duties are so much to handle in this little life. But, of course, that’s the story of all of us; we all face such issues. But the question is, How do we deal with life? Or, to be exact,” how to address life troubles?”

Let me share with you a story that changed my life;

One day a farmer’s donkey fell into a well. The poor animal cried piteously for hours like we do when we get trapped in life’s problems. The farmer tried to figure out what to do and how to deal with the life of this donkey, but he came up with an opportunist solution. Considering all the conditions that the animal was old and the well needed to cover up, it wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement, he quieted down.

A few shovelloads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. The donkey was doing something unique with each shovel of dirt that hit his back. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer’s neighbours continued shovelling dirt on the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

Moral of Story: Solution of Life Problems & How To Deal With Life

If I have to sum it up in one line, I would say, ” If life is throwing lemons at you, make lemonade out of it.” Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells by not stopping and never giving up! So shake it off and take a step up. Stop crying over ashes.

Do not mourn for what is gone or lost; stop complaining about the scarcity of resources instead of thinking, “How can I build up my castle from the leftovers?”. Instead, use your mind to find ways to use the available leftover resources instead of worrying about what is not available or what you have already lost.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

  1. Free your heart from hatred – Forgive and let your anger go.
  2. Free your mind from worries – Most never happen. Beat your depression, throw anger, and stop thinking about negative thoughts.
  3. Live and appreciate what you have. Gratitude is the best attitude.
  4. Give more. True happiness is when you make others happy.
  5. Expect less from people but more from yourself.

Resilience: The Key to Deal With Life

One of the most important skills to develop when learning how to deal with life is resilience. Resilience is not just about enduring challenges but thriving despite them. Like the donkey in the story, we must find ways to shake off the dirt that life throws at us and rise above it. Building resilience involves shifting our mindset from victimhood to empowerment.

Instead of dwelling on why something happened, focus on what you can do next. Resilience also comes from maintaining hope and surrounding yourself with positivity. Small steps, like embracing self-care, practicing mindfulness, and leaning on your faith, can build an unshakeable foundation that helps you navigate life’s inevitable struggles with grace and strength.

Faith as a Guiding Light

Another powerful tool to deal with life is faith. Faith provides clarity when confusion clouds our judgment and peace when chaos surrounds us. Turning to Allah in times of difficulty reminds us that every challenge is a test and an opportunity for growth. As Muslims, we believe that Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity, as mentioned in the Quran.

This belief instills confidence and patience in our hearts. When you are lost in life’s uncertainties, Namaz (prayer) can be your anchor, offering moments of connection with Allah and a chance to seek guidance. Faith reassures us that even when the path ahead seems unclear, Allah’s wisdom is leading us to something better.

Conclusion: How to Deal With Life

Dealing with life’s ups and downs requires a blend of resilience, faith, and gratitude. Every challenge you face is a stepping stone, an opportunity to grow stronger and wiser. Life will always present obstacles, but your response determines your journey’s quality. Shake off the negativity, take each challenge as a lesson, and never lose hope.

Remember, faith in Allah and a positive mindset are your greatest tools to navigate hardships. Whether it’s leaning on your prayers, finding strength in gratitude, or embracing resilience, you can face life’s hurdles and rise above them. Let life’s difficulties refine you, not define you, and trust that with every struggle, there’s ease waiting ahead.
