Ustadha Hend Younos

Hend Younos completed her memorization of the Quran in 2000 and holds several Ijazahs: one in Quran recitation, memorization, Tajweed and teaching awarded with distinction in 2007, an Ijazah with isnad in the readings of Hafs and Shu'bah in 2014, and an Ijazah to teach Qaida Nooraniah and Noor Al Bayan in 2013. She also completed the four-year programme at the Da'wah Preparation Institute with distinction, and is currently studying the reading of Ibn Kathir toward the ten qira'at.

She has taught Quran and Tajweed to non-Arabic speakers since 2014 and Noor Al Bayan in English since early that year, working from both English and Arabic source materials. She has been teaching children in Egypt since 1998. Her first degree is in Pharmacy from Cairo University.
