Can anyone help me. I have linux-centos. I have downloaded tafsir.zip file, after extracting I got tafsirkathir.chm file, I could not be able to open when I try to open it.

As-Salaamu Alaikum
.chm is a Microsoft proprietary file format basically used for help files. But now a days, many documents or books are in .chm format. We can open these files in Linux with xchm, a open source tool. xCHM is a cross-platform GUI front-end to chmlib. xCHM can show the content tree if one is available, print pages, change font face and size, remember bookmarks, display a searchable index, and search for words in the current page and the whole book.
To install xchm:
1) Configure yum to use EPEL repository (visit How to configure EPEL repository )
2) Next install xchm with yum:
[test@server ~]# sudo yum install xchm -y &
3) Thats it, now you can just double click any .chm file to read or you can run the command:
[test@server ~]# xchm
