In Islam, belief in ALLAH is the single most important belief. Muslims believe in ALLAH, supreme and eternal, infinite and mighty, merciful and compassionate, creator and provider. There are many reasons why we should believe in Allah. I have not seen Allah, but I still believe in Him. He is the God of all humanity, not of a particular tribe. ALLAH is high and supreme, but He is very near to the pious thoughtful believers; He answers their prayers and helps them. He loves the people who love Him and forgives their sins. He gives them peace, happiness, knowledge, and success.

Believe in Allah:

The most fundamental teaching of Islam is to believe in Allah’s oneness, in the sense of His being the only creator. So, One must know that God deserves to be worshiped and thus refrain from worshiping any other thing or being. Muslims believe in ALLAH that has no father or mother, no son or daughter. None is equal to Him. And He is the God of all humanity. Believe in ALLAH is the base of all religions. So, The need to believe in ALLAH, to rely on Him, and to worship Him is inherent in a man. That feeling was born together with man and continued in each period.

ALLAH subhana hu wa taala says:

Say, ‘Why do you take protectors other than Him, who can neither benefit nor harm even themselves?’ Say, ‘Are the blind equal to those who can see? And are the depths of darkness equal to the light?’ Have the partners they assign to God created anything like His creation so that their creation is indistinguishable from His? Say, ‘God is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the All Compelling.'”

(AlQuran13:16)

Allah is the creator of the Universe:

Allah’s rights upon His creation are absolute. He is the sole creator and sustainer of the Universe, the Almighty who created everything with wisdom, So the one who initiated every being from nothing.

It states in the Quran

“Indeed, your Lord is Allāh, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Surely, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allāh, Lord of the worlds.”

(AlQuran 7:54)

Those who have been shown the light are very fortunate as their hearts and minds are very receptive to His words, and they eagerly accept reality as it comes.

“It is He who created all of that which is on the earth for you. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He knows of all things.”

(AlQuran 2:29)

Guidance in in the Hand of Allah

In Islam, it is believed that guidance and the ability to understand and follow the path of righteousness are in Allah’s hands. This belief is rooted in the Islamic concept of tawheed, or the oneness of God, which holds that God is the only one with the power and ability to guide and lead individuals on the right path.

This power of guidance lies with ALLAH alone, as He says:

Allah (SWT) guided whom He will to a straight path.”

 (Surah al-Baqarah 2:213)
