Ustadha Aalaa Ghonaim
Aalaa Ghonaim completed the Advanced Level Qira'at programme ('Aliyah al-Qira'at) at the Al-Azhar Institute of Quranic Modes of Recitation in 2008 — the formal route into the study of the multiple readings of the Quran.
She went on to a B.A. from Al-Azhar University's Faculty of Islamic Studies, Islamic Legislation department (2010), and a Pre-Master's in Islamic Jurisprudence (2013). She has also attended an intensive course for students of knowledge at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah.
