Read The Quran

We treat the Quran as an ancient book, only taking it out on a wedding or funeral not to read Quran. We think the Quran is for Scholars to understand and implement.

‘Ramadan is the month in which was sent down the quran as guidance for MANKIND….’ (Al-Baqra: 185)

Quran is sent down for every individual to recite, understand, and attain guidance through it. We should read the Quran as it is fard on us to do this as our salvation depends on it.

‘Indeed Quran is a reminder/admonishing…’ (Muzammil:19)

This shows that we need to read the Quran and be connected to it on a daily bases in order to be reminded of its message and essence.

Indeed we have made the Quran easy to understand and remember, then is there any to receive admonition? (Al-Qamr:17)
